How do I reset my password?

On the Sign In screen, tap Forgot password? and enter the email address on your account. We'll send you a reset link that's valid for one hour.

If you signed up with Apple or Google, you don't have a Trickle password — sign in with the same provider you used originally, and manage that account's password through Apple or Google.

How do I cancel my Premium subscription?

Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, so you cancel through them — not in the Trickle app.

  • iPhone or iPad — Settings app → tap your Apple ID at the top → Subscriptions → Trickle → Cancel Subscription.
  • Android — Google Play Store → profile icon → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → Trickle → Cancel subscription.

Your Premium features stay active until the end of your current billing period.

Can I get a refund?

Because Apple and Google handle billing, refunds also go through them:

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account. You'll be asked to confirm. Once you do, your data is permanently removed from our systems within seven days.

If you'd prefer we handle it, email privacy@gettrickle.app from the address on your account.

Is Trickle giving me financial advice?

No. Trickle is a financial literacy app. Everything inside it — lessons, simulators, nudges, and the Trickle chatbot — is educational information only. It isn't tailored to your personal situation and should not be treated as financial, investment, tax, legal, or insurance advice.

How does the Trickle chatbot work? Are my conversations used to train AI?

When you ask Trickle chatbot a question, your message is processed by Google's Gemini model (with Anthropic's Claude as a fallback). We also send the most relevant lesson excerpts from Trickle's own curriculum so the answer stays grounded in our content — a technique called Retrieval-Augmented Generation.

We do not send your stored profile, goals, logged money moves, lesson progress, or any other saved data to the AI models. Chat is isolated.

Google and Anthropic's enterprise API terms state that prompts and completions sent through their paid APIs are not used to train their models. We rely on those terms. We also do not use your messages to train any AI model ourselves.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Email privacy@gettrickle.app from the address on your account and we'll send you a copy of your data in a machine-readable format within 30 days.

Is Trickle available in my country?

At launch, Trickle is available in all App Store and Google Play regions where Apple and Google support paid subscriptions.

Our lessons use general financial principles and are not tailored to any specific country's tax or regulatory system — please treat country-specific details as a starting point, not as guidance for your situation.

I found a bug. What do I do?
